Heska expanded their square footage and consolidated from four buildings to one new Corporate Headquarters; providing more space, easier access between functional groups, and flexibility to accommodate future expansion.
Initially, Teammates was asked to provide Furniture Specification and Consulting Services. These services included an inventory analysis of Heska’s current furniture inventory and specifying the furniture that would be included in their RFP.
In addition, Teammates provided Heska with a Financial Evaluation Matrix that compared different furniture scenarios, and identified the real costs associated with each. The scenarios were as follows; re-using Heska’s existing inventory, combining both new and existing product, or using new product. This enabled Heska to test their original notion that re-using existing furniture would be the most economic approach to furnishing their space.
Based on these analyses and the confidence built through the consultative process, Heska not only realized that buying new furniture was the solution that best fit their needs, they also realized that Teammates was the furniture contractor that could best do the job.
