Jehn Engineering
“The design team is amazing! They went out of their way to be sure that we ended up with the perfect environment for our company.”
JeHN Engineering is a full service civil engineering firm located in Arvada, Colorado. JeHN built their new headquarters in Arvada’s historic district. (Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.)
Getting LEED certified was a primary goal; so incorporating sustainable products was important to JeHN. Instead of drywall, JeHN chose Altos Architectural Walls (with low glass panels) for nearly all of their interior walls. Glass paneled Altos maximizes the flow of light throughout the space, can be reconfigured and reused, and has multiple certifications and compliances. These product benefits made a significant contribution to JeHN’s LEED certification goals.
Local products were used wherever possible and workstations were designed with low panels heights to enhance natural light and insure abundant views of the Rocky Mountains. This not only aligns with their LEED certification goals, but also underscores their strong connection to Colorado and the local community. For their training room, JeHN chose Teknion’s flexible expansion training tables to enable simple reconfiguration to meet the varying needs of their organization, as well as other local businesses and municipalities to whom they generously offer their meeting space.
